Note - his DOB conflicts with his brother Jacob. I've included the listing of his death found in the Snyder County Death Register (available on FamilySearch). Unfortunatly, his age (68y, 4m 3d) calculated to a DOB of 4 May 1836, which is different than his DOB on the stone, but is still 1836.
His age listed in census records varies , with only 1880 and 1900 agreeing (age 46 in 1880;b. Apr 1834 in 1900). In 1850, the only year that lists both he and brother Jacob in the same family, shows his age to be 15, and brother Jacob is 13.
