"Wilhelmina, widow of Frederick W. Lehman, aged 63 year, was found dead in bed at 7 am at her home, 1009 Chestnut street. She was from Carlsruhe, Germany and the daughter of the late Joseph and Christina Byer. She came to this country with her husband 43 years ago and settled in Reading, living here ever since. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She is survived by four daughters: Mary, wife of John F. Palm; Minnie, wife of Harry D. Alspach; Dora, wife of Paul E. Palm; Elsie, at home, and one grandson."

"The funeral of Wilhelmina Lehman was held from her late residence, 1009 Chestnut street Thursday at 2 p.m. Rev. Philip Kirchner conducted the services. The body was in black silk and rested in a black cloth-covered cedar casket with silver extension handles. Interment in Charles Evans cemetery. Undertaker, Henninger"
