OBITUARY: Frank B. Daniels (w/ photo) - Wenona - Frank Brown Daniels, 89, died in his home here, Wednesday Nov. 14, 1990, of cardiac arrest. He was known as "Daddy Frank" by his friends and family. Born in Wenona, he was a son of the late Charles and Alice Jones Daniels. Daniels was a retired waterman, sail maker and boat builder and the first and olderst member of Faith Independent Church in Wenona. Daniels is survived by five daughters, Audrey Benton, Joan Townsend, Anna Curtis, Mrytle Wallace and Kay Daniels, all of Wenona; four sons, Earl Daniels, Norman Benton and Tommy Daniels, all of Wenona, and Fred Daniels of Eden; a sister, Bessie Daniels Wallace of Salisbury; 42 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Two sons, Barney Evans and Capt. William "Spooky" Benton are deceased. A funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Faith Independent Church, conducted by the Rev. Linwood Benton. Interment will be in St. Paul's Cemetery here. Friends may call at the church tonight after 7 and Friday one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are being handled by the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne. (The Daily Times, Thursday, 15 November 1990, p. 12)
