Mrs. Alice L. Ketterman, 86, of Biglerville, died Sunday morning at 12:25 in the Warner Hospital where she had been a patient for the last two weeks.
A native of Adams County, born February 9, 1876, in Cumberland Twp., a daughter of the late William and Savina (Spangler) Patterson, she was the widow of George Ketterman, who died in 1932.
She had resided most of her life in the Gettysburg area then moved to Biglerville several years ago to reside with a daughter, Mrs. Sarah Trimmer. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church here.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Trimmer, with whom she lived and Mrs. Ross Hann, Littlestown R.1; four sons, Paul H. Ketterman, Gettysburg; Harry L. Ketterman, York; Carl F. Ketterman, Gettysburg, and Raymond Ketterman, Gettysburg R.1; 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Also surviving are a brother, Luther Patterson, Littlestown, and these sisters; Mrs. Clara Leech, Arkansas City, Kan., Mrs. Medora Delap, Gettysburg R.2, and Mrs. Laura Stansbury, Littlestown.
Funeral services Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 from the Peters Funeral Home, Carlisle St., with the Rev. Dr. Paul L. Reaser and Rev. John s. Bishop officiating. Interment in Flohr’s Cemetery.
