Mrs. Sherman Freed Dies Sunday At 86

Mrs. Rosanna M. Freed, 86, widow of Sherman Freed, formerly of near Gettysburg, died at the Kuhn Convalescent Home, New Oxford, at 3: 20 p.m. Sunday.

A daughter of the late William and Sabina (Spangler) Patterson, she was a member of St. James Lutheran Church here.

Her husband died 27 years ago.

Surviving are four sisters and one brother: Mrs. Clara Leach, Arkansas City, Kan; Mrs. Alice Ketterman and Mrs. Madora Delap, Cumberland Twp.: Mrs. Laura Stansbury and Luther D. Patterson, Littlestown.

Funeral services on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the J.W. Little and Son Funeral Home, Littlestown. Mrs. Freed's pastor, the Rev. Paul L. Reaser, will officiate. Internment will be in Grace Lutheran Church Cemetery, Two Taverns.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening. It is suggested that flowers be omitted.
