Enrique Cantu, Jr., age 59, of Atascosa, TX, died Wednesday, April 29, 2009. He was preceded in death by his father, Enrique G. Cantu, Sr., and sister, Christina H. Colunga. Enrique is survived by his mother, Consuelo Hernandez; step mother, Christina Cantu; sisters, Anna Maria Guzman, Evangelina Del Rio, Irene Ugarte, Elvira Arrieta, Manuela May, Norma Morales, Gloria Hernandez, Martha Hernandez; brothers, Ernest Cantu, Emilio Cantu, Joe Hernandez; nephew, Everett Guerra and wife, Amy; niece, Hillary Nicole Guerra; numerous nephews, nieces and other family members.
Erinque was a Graduate of South West High School Class of 1968.
He served his country bravely with two tours of duty in Vietnam with the US Marines.
1970 Awarded the Purple Heart for Bravery.
