Herbert Lux

FORSYTH, MT. --- Herbert Lux, 53, a retired chef who worked on ranches, died Wednesday at a home about 10 miles west of Forsyth.

he was born July 17, 1915, to Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lux at Kremlin and was reared there and in the Havre area.

He enlisted in the National guard in 1934, the Army in 1937, the Air Force 1950 and discharged in 1960.

He came to Rosebud County in 1962 as a retired Chef and worked in a cafe.

He was both a World War II and Krean War Veteran.

He married Lillian Collinge at Sheridan, WY., Nov. 3, 1965.

Survivors include the widow of Forsyth; a son Ronald of Forsyth, three daughters, Gale Ann Lux of Yuma, AZ., Mrs. Don Boland and Mrs. Ryan Corrigan both of Phoenix, AZ.; six grandchildren; three brothers and five sisters.

He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans at Miles City.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Beals Mortuary at Forsyth, with the Rev. Marlin Foster of the Wesleyan Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will be in the Forsyth veterans Cemetery, Forsyth, MT., with military honors.
