Passes to Her Reward.
Sarah Wiglesworth Arbuckle was born Aug. 9, 1867, in Missouri township, Ontario, Canada, and departed this life Monday, Jan. 5, 1920; aged 52 years 4 months, and 27 days. Her early life was spent in Canada. In 1884 she was married to Archie Arbuckle. To this union were born two sons, Robert and William, who survive her. In 1887 the family "moved to Meredith, Clare county, Mich., where they lived until 1899, when they moved to their farm in Sherman township, Gladwin county, Mich., which was her home until the death messenger came for her. Her husband, Archie Arbuckle, after much suffering, was called from this life Nov. 9, 1911.
She was converted while at Meredith, and after coming to Sherman united with the Baptist church of which she was a faithful member until her death.
She leaves to mourn her loss, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Arbuckle and children, Edith, Ray and Lester; Mr. and Mrs. William Arbuckle and children, Lillian, Bessie and Francis; one
brother, Robert Wiglesworth of St. Ives, Canada, and one sister, Mrs. Anne Rumble of Thorndale, Canada, also a host of friends and neighbors.
Funeral services were conducted Jan. 8, 1920, from the First Baptist church at Skeels by her former pastor, Rev. J. W. Tolly of Hope, Mich. Interment in Sherman cemetery. Gladwin County Record dated 1-15/1920 Column - 5 Page - 5.
