On the 10th of Jan. they were ready to leave.
They traveled through Tennessee,
The men hunted game and deer on the way. They crossed the Mississippi River at Memphis on a ferry.
As they headed toward Little Rock it started to snow which concerned Matilda because it was nearing the birth of her baby.
When they reached Little Rock they stopped and pulled their wagons in for a wind breaker for Matilda was in Labor.
There was a Mid Wife in the group so she helped Matilda as she gave birth to a little boy, they named him Byrd Lee
Bagley.
There was a lot of problems and trouble on their trip but they made it on to Texas and made a home there with their families.
