Obit: Unknown Newspaper ---------Clark County, Illinois ---------November 1932---------FORMER CASEY BOY KILLED IN RAILROAD MOTOR CAR WRECK -------------Bluford R. Steward, who was reared south of Casey, and resided with his wife and three children at 1557 Seventh Avenue, Terre Haute, was fatally injured about 6 o'cloth Tuesday evening when a railroad motor car on which he was riding turned over near Coal Bluff, Ind. ----------A wheel was reported to have fallen from the car as the vehicle crossed the Baltimore & Ohio railroad tracks at the crossing near Coal Bluff. He was said to have been as far as Carbon, Ind., on the car and apparently was returning to the roundhouse when the accident occurred. He was emplyed as car repairman on the Big Four railroad, with which company he had been for the past ten years. He was 33 years old. ---------------Bluford was thrown from the car, maintaining a fracture of the skull and numerous bruises and lacerations. An ambulance from Fontanet rushed him to a Terre Haute hospital, where he died a couple of hours later. ------The remains will be taken to Hazel Dell this Friday and the funeral services held at the South church at 2:30 o'clock. Burial will be made in a Hazel Dell cemetery.
