Mrs. Maude Gallagher, widow of Harry Gallagher, formerly of Adams County, died suddenly Wednesday at her home in Lansdowne. Neighbors, worried when they did not see her about in the morning, went to her home in the afternoon and found she had died in sleep. The death was attributed to a heart attack.
Her husband, the late Harry Gallagher, died December 20, 1955. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Harry Lady, of Illinois, and a number of nieces and nephews.
A daughter of the late Mr. And Mrs. Frank Biesecker, she was a native of Cashtown. She and Mr. Gallagher moved from Cashtown to Philadelphia area a number of years ago.
Interment will be in Flohr’s Cemetery, but other details of the funeral arrangements are incomplete.
