Concluding funeral services for Harvey W Deardorff, formerly of near Flohr’s church, who died in Philadelphia, Tuesday afternoon from a complication of diseases, will be held at Flohr’s church, Saturday morning at 10;30, the Rev. George B Ely officiating. Interment will be at Flohr’s.
On Friday evening at 8:00, services will be conducted at the Deardorff home in Philadelphia, and on Saturday morning the body will be brought to Flohr’s church by H B Bender and Son, local undertakers.
Mr. Deardorff was a son of the late Mr. And Mrs. Henry Deardorff, and lived on the Deardorff homestead near Flohr’s church until 23 years ago when he moved to Philadelphia. He had been working as a carpenter in Philadelphia.
Mr. Deardorff is survived by his widow, whose maiden name was Miss Amanda Shull, and one daughter, Mrs. Taylor Wardon, Philadelphia. Three grandsons also survive.
