Jack Munden Jr. was born July 16, 1942, in Meridian. Active in rodeo since high school, he was past president and an active member of OTRCA and an active member of NOTRA. He was a member of the Bud Light, Coors Light and USTRA Team Roping Association and announcer of the Kowbell Indoor Rodeo.
Survivors: Wife, Carolyn Munden of Alvarado; two sons, Eric Munden and wife Cindy of Claremore, Okla., and Chad Munden of Alvarado; daughter, Tulana Munden of Alvarado; mother, Inez Munden of Haltom City; two brothers, Lanny Munden of Springtown and Danny Munden of Watauga; two sisters, Mary Lou Lane of Burleson and Sue Curry of Springtown; and one grandson, Trey Jordan Munden.
