Buhrman Elkins Cluck, 65, died suddenly at 1:00 a m Wednesday at his home 145 West Second Street, Waynesboro, of a heart attack. He was in his usual health Tuesday and visited with friends last evening. He was taken critically ill about 11:30 p m Tuesday night.
He was born near Fairfield, son of Jacob and Harriet (Deardorff) Cluck. His boyhood was lived at Mont Alto, and when a young man went to Waynesboro. He had been employed in the shipping department at Frick company for more than 40 years.
Mr. Cluck was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical and Reformed church and the Men’s Bible class of the Sunday school. He was also a member of the Jr. O.U.A.M.
Surviving are his wife, Harriet Corwell Cluck; daughter, Mrs. Paul Pryor, Waynesboro; brother, Robert, Waynesboro; sisters, Mrs. Cora Boyd, Mrs. Virgie Rowe, both of Chambersburg; and Mrs. Samuel McCartin, Waynesboro; theses half brothers, Lawrence Cluck, Waynesboro, and Dorsey Cluck, Mont Alto, and a half sister, Mrs. Colbert Kurokawa, Waynesboro.
Funeral services Saturday at 2:00 from the Grove funeral home, Waynesboro, in charge of Fred. H.K. Haines and Rev. Victor H Jones. Interment in Flohr’s cemetery, McKnightstown.
