--Luther H Bushey, 74, died Christmas Day at 4:30 P.M. at his home in Orrtanna after an illness of six years. A complication of diseases caused death.
He was a native of Adams County and a son of the late George and Harriet Mickley Bushey. He had resided in Orrtanna since May, going there from Railroad, York county, where he had lived for the last 40 years. He worked as a woodworker in a furniture plant there. He was a member of Christ Lutheran church of Shrewsbury.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Emma E Fritz Bushey, to whom he was married 53 years ago; a sister, Mrs. Larkin Bucher, Gettysburg RD and a brother, J Calvin Bushey, Washington, D.C.
Funeral services from the Bender funeral home Thursday morning at 10:00 with the Rev. A.R. Lonanecker, Gettysburg, officiating. Interment in Flohr's Church cemetery.
