Services for Sara Ellen Linnihan, 93, of New Richland, will be held at 10:30 a.m.Friday at All Saints Catholic Church. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
A Rosary service will be held at 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
Mrs. Linnihan was born on Jan. 6, 1882 in St. Mary's Township of Waseca County, the daughter of James and Elizabeth Norton.
She was a life long resident of Waseca County, farming in Byron Township with her husband until retirement in 1945, then moving to New Richland.
She died at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Waseca Memorial Hospital, where she had been for the last month.
Mrs. Linnihan was married to Henry W. Linnihan on November 19, 1918 in Waseca. He preceded her in death on April 18, 1949. She was also preceded in death by a son, Joseph in infancy.
She is survived by a son, Kenneth of New Richland.
Three daughters;
Mrs. Ambrose (Helen) Dulas of New Richland
Mrs. Matt (Mary) Burns of Janesville
Mrs. Norbeit (Margaret) Schultz of New Richland.
Three brothers, five sisters, including her twin, Celia McHugo
12 grandchildren.
