Daughter of Franklin Barney Philbrick (1868-1932) and
Estella Amarilla Bridges Philbrick Bennett (1871-1940)

She was married twice.

First husband Archie L. Ackley (1880-1966)
They were married in a Leap Year on 29 Feb 1908 and had four children:
Reuben Benton Borden Ackley (1909-1982)
Lulu Anna Ackley (1913-2000)
Lela Isabell Ackley (1917-2007)
Leo Edward Ellis Ackley (1922-1999)

Second husband Ralph S. Valentine (1899-1960). After they were divorced she retook the name Ackley.
