Visitation honoring Morgan will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles Street) on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 from 5:00-6:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the Basham Funeral Care Chapel on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at the Bakersfield National Cemetery (30338 E. Bear Mountain Blvd. Arvin, CA 93203) on Friday, April 22, 2011 at 2:45 p.m.
Morgan was born March 21, 1950 in Delano, CA. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 17, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harrell and Icie Hightower. He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Hightower; their children, Jeremy and Stacy Parcher, Travis and Shawna Parcher and Crystal Ibarra; 6 grandchildren; one brother and sister and numerous nieces and nephews. Morgan enjoyed camping and truly enjoyed playing golf, badly, but he enjoyed it just the same. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
