Oda Miller Mullins, age 85 of Rogersville, died Monday, March 10, 2008 at Church Hill Health Care and Rehab Center following an extended illness.

He was born February 9, 1923 in Claiborne County, TN to the late William and Nancy Wilmouth Mullins. Mr. Mullins was a faithful member of Howe's Chapel Baptist Church. He will be missed by his friends at the Burger Bar as well as his hunting and fishing companions. Oda was an avid hunter, fisherman and a farmer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Roxie Reece, Arlena Reece and Elsie Elkins; brothers, Ben, Emmitt, Herman, Joe, Wilson, Wiley and Ance Mullins.

He is survived by his sister, Ruby Eidson of Surgoinsville; brother, Burt Mullins and wife, Eva of Kingsport; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

Calling hours were 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at Broome Funeral Home, Rogersville. Funeral service were conducted 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 11, 2008 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Joe Frazier and Rev. Tecky Hicks officiating. Music was provided by James Seaver. Graveside service were 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at Hawkins County Memorial Gardens.
