Funeral services for Katheryn J. Bailey, age 75, of York were held Monday, February 14,
2011 at 2 P.M. from the York Baptist Church with David Wilkinson officiating. Burial followed in the Sumter Memorial Gardens in Cuba. Visitation was held at the church one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Bailey passed away Saturday, February 12, 2011 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She was retired records keeper for the probate office.
Mrs. Bailey is survived by her daughter Mrs. Kathy B. Martin (Lloyd) of Tuscaloosa; her sisters Mrs. Rhoda Nunnally of Tuscaloosa; Mrs. Mary Wurm of Tuscaloosa; Mrs. Erion Basinger of Linden.
She was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Everett Ray Bailey; her brothers Mr. Dan Johnson and Mr. Net Johnson; her sister Mrs. Lillian Elrod.
Mrs. Bailey was loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was the Lord's hands while she was here and she is in the Lord's hand now.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family for funeral expenses.
