Mabel S. Thorson, 85, died Friday, Oct. 8 in Choteau where she had lived the past 10 years. Services were Monday at Bethel Lutheran Church, Joplin.
She was born in Pigeon Falls, Wis. Her family
homesteaded near Joplin in 1913. She married Gilbert Thorson in 1905. He died in 1934.
Survivors include daughters, Gladys of Choteau, Mrs. R. K. (Vi) Liechner of Boise, Mrs. J. E. (Al) of Warm Springs and Mrs. Don (Beaulah) Anderson of Fairfield, a son, Cliff of Joplin, 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
