Royal Victor Parkhurst, 70, formerly of Eagleville, MO passed away March 4, 2011, in Palestine, Texas. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Donna, of the home; daughters, Patricia Welch and friend, Ken, Neches, TX, Leanne Gilpatrick and friend, Max, Ridgeway, MO and Cheryl Mossburg and friend, James, Eagleville, MO; 8 grandchildren, 7 greatgrandchildren and all of his extended family adopted over the past seventy years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elza and Dorothy Parkhurst; brothers, Cecil and Donald Parkhurst, and grandson, Roger Darryl.
Royal was loved by all who knew him. He enjoyed family, friends, and their dog, Trixie. He enjoyed bulldozoing; his hobbies were working on his small farm and collection of tractors. Royal will be missed by many.
Burial March 12, 2011, at Payne Cemetery in Hatfield, Missouri.
