Dorothy (Stone) Parkhurst was born on May 30, 1911 in Harrison County., to Sylvester and Olivia (Johnston) Stone She departed this life on Monday, January 15, 1990 at the age of 78 years, seven months and 15 days at her home in Eagleville.

Dorothy was united in marriage to Elza Parkhurst Dec. 18, 1928. To this union three sons were born, Donald, Cecil and Royal.

She was a housewife and loved working outside while living on the farm and in town.

She was a member of the RLDS Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister Hazel; two brothers, Raymond and LeRoy, and one son Donald.

She leaves behind her Husband, Hank, of the home; son Royal and daughter-in-law Donna of Neches, Tex., Son Cecil and daughter-in-law Lola Mae Parkhurst of Wapello, Ia. and families; and daughter-in-law Mildred Parkhurst of Oregon and family. 13 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives."
