Ramon Rodriguez, 64, of Amarillo, formerly of Dimmitt, died Saturday, April 9, 2011.

Rosary will be said at 8:30 p.m. today in Immaculate Conception of Mary Catholic Church in Dimmitt. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday at the church with the Rev. Lupe Mayorga as celebrant. Burial will be in West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Dimmitt by Colonial Funeral Home.

Mr. Rodriguez was born April 12, 1946, in Los Frenos to Julian and Rosa Rodriguez. He married Stella Padilla in Dimmitt on Sept. 25, 1970.

Survivors include three daughters, Christina Sparks, Crystal Rodriguez and Cristin Rodriguez, all of Amarillo; five sisters, Elosia Leal and Monce Lopez, both of Dimmitt, Martina Lopez of Pampa, Elida Garza of Dimmitt and Fabian Saldana of Amarillo; a brother, Juan Rodriguez of Dimmitt; and five grandchildren.
