RATFLIFF CITY — April 8, 1937 — April 10, 2011

Funeral Services for Mr. Jerry L. Fletcher, 74, of Ratliff City, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2011 at the Ratliff City First Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Johnston officiating. Interment will follow at Ratliff City Cemetery. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Ratliff City.

Jerry was born April 8, 1937 at Walters to the late Mr. Thomas Hughie Fletcher and Mrs. Jossie Matilda (Lucas) Fletcher. He departed this life Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Healdton.

Jerry moved to Countyline at the age of five years and has resided in the Ratliff City area most of his life. He and the former Ms. Joyce Ann Riddle were united in marriage September 18, 1957 at Gainesville, Texas. Jerry worked all of his working years in the Oilfield. He and Joyce moved quite a lot following oilfield work and lived at Woodward for several years when he owned Mid American Well Service that operated up to nine work over rigs. Once they returned to the Ratliff City area in 1986, he and Joyce opened "Fletcher's Grocery" in Pruitt City. Jerry continued to always work in the Oilfield and was most recently working as a pumper for Southern Production. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Jerry was preceded in death by his Parents, infant brother Clifford and brothers, Don, Clinton and Benny.

Survivors include his wife Joyce of the home; Daughter, Kay Butler and husband Richard of Ratliff City; Son, Ladon Fletcher and Rhonda and her son Jesse of Velma; Two Grandchildren, Jackie Butler of Oklahoma City, and Russ Butler of Ratliff City; Brothers, Hughie Joe Fletcher of Comanche, Ralph Fletcher of Meridian, and Kenneth Ray Fletcher and wife Johnnie of Graham. Numerous nieces and nephews and other family.

Pallbearers will be Ladon Fletcher, Russell Butler, Ray Fletcher, Derrel Fletcher, Chris Fletcher, Jeff Stevens and Randy Wylie.

Family visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home in Ratliff City.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF) 825 N.E. 13th Oklahoma City, OK 73104.
