Syrine Dyson was the daughter of Isaac Dyson and Sarah Elizabeth Lyman. She married James K. Engle January 8, 1880 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were the parents of James Kimball, Lilly, Rosy, William, Ellis and Ida Gace Engle. Syrine married Joseph Stephen Nyland on February 25, 1893 in Castle Dale, Utah. Their children were John Stephen, Kathlyn, Lawrence Dooley, Clarence, McKinley, Olive Amber, Arthur Alfred and an infant son who died along with his mother from the delivery.
