Amy M. Irwin, age 94 died November 28, 1989 in Oklahoma City. Mrs. Irwin was born in Waverly, Kansas and moved to Okla. City in 1930 with her husband Albert B. Irwin, who preceded her in death in 1955. She was a devoted wife and mother to her two daughters, was active in Gatewood P.T.A., her church (Epworth United Methodist) and her P.E.O. Chapter. Homemaking was her career, sewing was her pride and cooking was her joy. What a heritage she leaves us all.
She is survived by daughters, Jeannie Thompson and her husband, Dan Thompson of OKC, Joan Coit and her husband, Roland Coit of Cupertino, CA; 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 sisters-in-law, several nieces, nephews and many friends. We'll miss you Amy. Memorials may be made to the Epworth United Methodist Church or the charity of your choice. Services 3:00 P.M. Thursday, November 30, 1989 at the Smith & Kernke Funeral Home, with interment in the Rose Hill Burial Park.
