Mrs. Paulina Louisa Behrndt, nee Pagel, was born November 9, 1863 in Germany and died October 10, 1927 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James Lucas at Oshkosh, WI.

September 6, 1883 she was joined in holy matrimony to August Behrndt who died in 1920 at Watertown, WI. This union was blessed with eight children of whom six mourn her death; Mrs. Clara Tingley and Mrs. Martha Secore of Beloit; Mrs. Netty Jackowick, Rice Lake; Mrs. Ruth Braund, Elroy, Mrs. Burdie Lucas, Oshkosh and Samuel W. Behrndt of Cameron. Also, 19 grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters of Monroe, WI.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 1:00 o’clock at the house of her son and at 2:00 at the Evangelical Church. The remains were laid to rest in Nora Cemetery.
