Zerelza married James Miller on April 12, 1877 in Wood County. She was the daughter of Zaccheus and Lucy Ann Martin Aller of Syracuse, New York. The family moved to Wood County in 1861 where her father died in 1863 when fifty-one years of age, and her mother subsequently married Daniel Mercer who died 23 September 1896 leaving a widow and 17 children. Zerelza was a member of the Disciples Church and in 1883, a member of the Women's Relief Corps. Zerelza died from cancer at the age of 63 years 7 months and 12 days.
