MINERAL WELLS -- Macy O. Bird Crow, 90, died May 25, 2010, in a Mineral Wells nursing home. Service is 10 a.m. Thursday, May 27, in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Granbury Cemetery in Granbury, Texas. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
She was born June 12, 1919, in Paluxy, Texas, the daughter of Isaac and Rebecca Gosdin Daniel. She married Fred Bird, who preceded her in death, as did her second husband, Floyd Crow. She was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells and was a member of 11th Avenue Church. She sang with the Mineral Wells Senior Center's Silver Notes.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Brian Paxton, of Houston; grandchildren and spouses, Kimberly and Tony Marshall, of Garner, Texas, Diana and Mike Armstrong of Hewitt, Texas, Alicia and Gary Fulton, of Midland, Texas, Rebecca and Walker Nelson, of Bastrop, Texas, and Brent and Laura Paxton, of Cross Plains, Texas; and great-grandchildren, Delanie, Forest, Dylan, Caitlyn, Macy, Hannah, Maggie, Ryan, Bryan and Shawn. She was preceded in death by her parents; 11 brothers and sisters; her husbands, Fred Bird, in 1987, and Floyd Crow; and a son, Freddie Bird.
