George Knoblach, 50, of 417 E. Mill Street, a retired Plymouth druggist, died early Saturday evening at the Wood, Wis. Veteran's hospital. In ill health since 1942, he had been taken to the veteran's hospital Friday. Born Oct. 10, 1898 at Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Knoblach, Sr., he attended public schools and graduated from the pharmacy school at the University of Wisconsin. On Dec. 28, 1921, he was married to Eleanor Rogers at Oshkosh. Mr. Knoblauch operated a pharmacy at Campbell Hill, Ill., until 1924 when he came to Plymouth and purchased the Fischer Pharmacy. He remained in the business until illness forced his retirement in 1942. He was a member of Cassia Lodge No. 167, Free and Accepted Masons, and the Ladewig-Zink-Graf Post No. 243, American Legion.
Survivors include the widow, a daughter, Miss Eleanor, at home, and a sister, Mrs. William Knutson, Lodi, Wis. His parents and an infant son preceded him in death.
