Funeral services for E.C. "Bill" Barnett, 59, veteran Charlevoix county Road Commission foreman, will be held at the Watson Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Wednesday wit the Rev. Stanley Hayes officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Barnett died unexpectedly early Monday at his home.
Born in East Jordan March 22, 1908, Mr. Barnett was graduated from the East Jordan high school in 1928. On June 4, 1936, he was married to the former Pauline Nowland. He had been employed by the Charlevoix county Road Commission since October 1936. He had been a foreman for 17 of the 31 years he was with the commission. He was a member of Jordan River Lodge No. 390, I. O.O. F.
