Two Lena persons were killed when the car in which they were riding collided with another in heavy fog at the intersection of State 141 and a town road 1½ miles south of Lena at 7:30 am Sunday. Ferdinand LaRue, 76, and Miss Mary Guelig, 63, died at a Green Bay hospital. The car, with eight passengers was going to a Lena church. The driver, Art Guelig, 58, Lena, is in critical condition at St. Vincent Hospital. The Guelig car collided with a southbound car driven by Le Roy Sommers, 26, Milwaukee. Mrs. Art Guelig was taken to St. Vincent Hospital. Treated and released at hospitals in Oconto Falls and Green Bay were three Guelig children, Robert, 14, Gary, 9, Mark, 8, Jacob Guelig, 65, Sommers, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sommers, both of Milwaukee.
