Mrs. edmund O'Donnell, aged 89 years, who was married in 1849 by Rev. Father Thomas O'Donnell, the first resident pastor of St. Columba Catholic church, died at her home in Wallace township at 6'oclock Friday evening. Mrs. O'Donnell had been a resident of Wallace township 65 years. She was born in County Kerry, Ireland and moved to Wallace township she she was 21 years of age. Two years later she was united in marriage to Edmund O'Donnell, brother of Rev. Father O'Donnell. They began their married life in Wallace, where the deceased lived the remainder of her life. Her husband died nine years ago. She was well known throughout Wallace and had many friends and acquaintances in Ottawa. Mrs. o'Donnell was the mother of three children all of whom survive her. They are Edmund O'Donnell, James O'Donnel and Mrs. John F. McDonald, all residents of Wallace township. She also is survived by Patrick Wolfe, of Ottawa and Richard Wolfe of Streator, her brothers. The funeral was held at St. Columba church and the interment was made in St. Columba cemetery.
