Mrs. Inez M. Knotts, 86, of Huber Heights, Ohio, formerly of Huntington, W.Va., died Monday Oct 30, 1995, at the residence of a son. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Reger Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Steve A. Todd and the Rev. Joseph Knotts Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Valley Memory Gardens. She was born Sept 4, 1909, in Friendly, W.Va., a daughter of the late William and Fannie Koch Monroe. She was a former nurses aide at Huntington State Hospital and worked as a machinist during World War II in a South Charleston plant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Channing Joseph Knotts; a daughter, Elizabeth "Betty" Houchins; two brothers William "Bill" Monroe and Ralph Monroe; two sisters, Dora Newell and Evelyn "Eva" Monroe.
Survivors include three sons, Rufus A. Knotts of Huber Heights, Ohio, Joseph C. Knotts of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Fletcher A. Knotts of Ducktown, Tenn.; a daughter, Clara M. Sharp of South Point, Ohio; two sisters, Hope Flesher and Bethel Bibbee, both of Friendly, W.Va.; 17 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
