(April 3, 1939 - August 30, 2014)

Reba J. Everett Cope, age 75, of Maryville, passed away Saturday evening, August 30, 2014 at Asbury Place of Maryville. She graduated from Walland High School in 1957 and became a Licensed Practical Nurse in the first Blount Memorial Hospital LPN program and later went on to Walters State to become a Registered Nurse. She retired from Blount Memorial Hospital in 1997.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Samuel Cope; parents, Ellis K. and Mamie Garland Everett; brothers, Robert Don and Ronald Horace Everett.

Survivors include her daughters, Sharon (David) Tiller and Kristi (David) Jones; son, James "Butch" (Kaye) Cope; grandchildren, Christopher (Ellen) Ritchey, Jason Ritchey, Casey Cope, David Jones; 2 great grandchildren, brother, Richard Kenneth (Charlene) Everett; sister, Wanda (Max) Hodge; paternal uncle, Jimmy Lee and wife, Dorothy Smith Everett; maternal aunt, Pearl Sparks Harmon; sisters in law, Zelda Everett and Lula Everett; brothers in law, Leon (Sue) and Stanley (Glenda) Cope; special friend, Rod Rogers; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Special thank you to the staff on 2 North at Asbury Place of Maryville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Piney Level Cemetery Fund, American Cancer Society, or Alzheimer's Association.

Funeral service will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Miller Funeral Home Cedar Chapel, Rev. George Macht officiating. Graveside service 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Piney Level Cemetery.
