M. Euretta Lambertson married Albert Davis at De Wit, Iowa. Later, the couple settled in Aurora County, SD, where her husband became that county's first auditor. He also took a homestead near Plankington. During the early 1890's, the couple moved to Beresford, SD, where Mrs. Lambertson died.

Three years after Margaret's death, her husband married Laura Woodward. He taught school and worked as a carpenter. Later, Albert Davis and his second wife made their home in Ranier, Washington. Albert died in May of 1911 when a train failed to blow a whistle and struck the wagon in which he was riding, hurling Albert seventy feet and crushing his skull.
