A resident of Gurley, she died at 3 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, 1999, at her home. She was 101 and a native of East Baton Rouge Parish. Visiting at Charlet Funeral Home Inc., Clinton, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday. Religious services at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Tom Logan. Interment in Jackson Cemetery, Jackson. Survived by two daughters, Mary Libby R. Blouin and Mrs. Marks (Sue) Easterly, both of Ethel; a son, the Rev. Ben D. Reily andhis wife, Geraldine, of Huntsville, Ala.; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Thomas S. Reily Sr.; a son, Thomas S. Reily Jr.; parents, Ben A. and Libby Kean Day; three sisters and three brothers. Pallbearers will be Hudge, Richard, Selwyn, Bo and Lex Blouin and Levy Easterly. She was a member of Clinton United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and Joanna Waddill Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy of whichshe was one of the last daughters whose father fought in the Civil War. Memorial donations may be made to Clinton United Methodist Church.
