A native and resident of Baton Rouge, she passed away at the age of 96 on Monday, April 4, 2011 at The Carpenter House. She was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church and the Plantation Cowbells. Visiting will be at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Thursday, April 7th from 5pm-8pm. Visiting will resume at the Ollie Steele Burden Franciscan Chapel, 4250 Essen Lane, on Friday, April 8th from 10am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am, conducted by Rev. Don Ajoko. Burial will be in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Lynette Leteff and Thomas E. Hart; Vikki Leteff and Harry J. McBrierty; and Lydia Leteff Morvant; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Alton Leteff and a son-in-law, Earl A. Morvant. Memorial donations can be made in her memory to a charity of your choice.
