Mr. Austin was a lifetime Salina resident. He worked in the family business, Austin's Food Market, until 1970. He then started his own business, Austin's Refrigeration and Air
Conditioning. He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors included his wife, Leona; two sons, Jim and Ed Austin; a sister, Gay Nothern; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
