Eliza married August John Swaner in December of 1869; not sure of the exact day but that is what is written in the US 1870 census. When August died abruptly in 1883 this left Eliza a young widow of only 32 with 6 children under the age of 12 to raise on her own. It was 8 years later that she married Albert C. Rainey August 6, 1891 and had one son, George A. b. 1895 with him. Many descendents have Eliza's death date as November 26, 1928...they are off by 20 years. As to the year she was born, her death cert. says 1853 but that is wrong also. In the UK 1851 Census you will find John, Hannah, Hannah and Eliza Wiseman; Eliza is listed as being "0 years". Census was taken March 31, 1851; a couple of weeks after she was born.

It should be noted that there are several Mountain View Cemeteries in Utah. The correct one is found in Ogden. The cemetery was "abandoned" and changed ownership and names in 1946 to Aultorest Memorial Park
