He was the son of the late Elmer and Pearl Foley Richards.
Glendo is survived by four sisters, Lois Bryant of Columbia; Lora Smith and Faye Mayer both of Illinois and Lena Hanson of Ohio; two brothers, Loren and Lester Richards both of Illinois, a nephew Albert Bryant and a host of other relatives and friends survive.
Glendo was a member of the White Oak Baptist Church and was disabled.
Graveside services were held Sunday, April 18, 1993 at 1:00 PM at the Freedom Cemetery.
Clergy officiating was Rev. Carl L. Osborne.
Interment in the Freedom Cemetery. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Edwin Bryant, James Absher, Albert Simpson, Robert Tilton, Fred Morgan and Albert Bryant
