Lester Richards, 86, of Weldon entered into eternal rest on Monday (April 13, 2015) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Lester was born in Columbia, Kentucky on Dec. 17, 1928. He was married April 2, 1949 to Rozella Bryant and they were together for 66 years.

She survives with three children, Linda (Charles) Cohen, Jerry Dale Richards and Kathy (Brendan) McKiernan; three grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was a very avid and lifelong farmer. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved anything John Deere.
