Eddie Briscoe, 56, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2010, at a Dallas hospital from complications with cancer.
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Monday, chapel of J.E. Foust Funeral Home, 523 S Main St., Grapevine.
Memorials: Should friends desire, memorials may be given to GRACE, 610 Shady Brook Drive, Grapevine, Texas 76051.
Eddie was born Nov. 20, 1953, to Ed and Merle Briscoe in Wichita Falls. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Eddie's positive attitude and his outlook on life inspired everyone he met. He was an avid sports fan.
His final act of kindness was in donating his cornea so two people today have sight.
Survivors: Wife, Judy Briscoe; son, Shelby Briscoe; stepsons, Bryan Mamaliga and wife, Robin, and Andrew Mamaliga; granddaughters, Briana and Sophia Mamaliga; sister, Suzanne Childs and husband, Billy; stepmother, Ruby Briscoe; and extended family.
