Paul L. Capien, 68, passed away January 4, 2011. He was born in Akron to the late Howard and Ida Mae Capien and was a lifelong resident, retiring from the Local Pipe fitters 219. He also belonged to the VFW Post 3383, the Eagles 555, the Orioles and the American Legion, and he attended St. Nicholas Byzantine Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Leroy Capien. He is survived by his wife, Joanne; brother, Charles (Laura); nieces and nephews, Charles (Bonnie), Brian (Gina), Kayla, Charlie, Marissa, Lil' Brian, Ann, Christina and Michelle; and other loving friends.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Rev. Ernie Kemppel officiating. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to service, from 10 – 11 a.m.
