Lawrence L. Capien, 56, of Marysville died Tuesday, May 16, 2000. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was a former employee of the Scott Company. He was born July 6, 1943, in Akron to the late Howard and Ida Capien. He is survived by two brothers, Paul (Joanne) Capien of Coventry and Charles Capien of Akron; and two nephews, Charles and Brian Capien of Akron. Funeral services will be held at the Eckard-Baldwin Funeral Home, 760 E. Market St., Akron. The Rev. G. Rod Taylor will officiate and burial will be at Northlawn Memorial Gardens where military services will be conducted by the Appleman VFW Post and the American Legion.
