He died of diptheria at the age of 1.5 years, according to family tradition. Death records are lacking for this period in Brown County. He is buried in an unmarked grave near the back of Carmel Ridge Cemetery. My father made a nice wooden cross marker back in the late 1980s and someone rudely removed it. He is buried next to his half-brother Joseph "Joe" Alonzo Reichard who also died of diptheria in the same year.

Per his parents' divorce record, he was born in 1902 rather than in 1903 as the stone suggests. There is a marker attributed to him at Fleener (Coon) Cemetery but this is not where he is buried. This stone was made around 1987/1990. The memorial stone in the picture is at the Fleener Cemetery and not at his actual burial place. Per Woodrow Fleener, Roy was buried next to his half-brother Joe Reichard.
