Mr. Boehnke held may church offices, also directorships in the Ventura Elevator, Ventura Creamery and the Hancock County Co-op Oil Assn. He farmed near Ventura, until retiring to a home in Ventura 35 years ago. For the past on and one-half years he has made his home with his son Theodore.
Surviving are; one son, Theodore, Ventura; four daughters; Mrs. H. J. (Emma) Pueggle; Mrs Emil (Olga) Ollenburgh; Mrs. Edward (Martha) Jass, and Mrs. H. L. (Ruth) Ollenburg; two sisters, Mrs. Wlilliam (Alvilna) Pueggle, and Mrs. W. E. (Emma) Bohn. Thirteen grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren also survived.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha, one son, four brothers and two sisters.
