Virgil was a Veteran of the US Navy, having served during WWII, and a retired coal miner and member of the UMWA.
He is survived by his

Daisy (Porter) Workman, Verdunville, WV;
3 Sons:
Virgil Dale,
Samuel David, and
Michael; a
Daughter:
Connie Bowery; a
Brother:
Bill Workman;
