Mrs. Maria Chapman died at the residence of her son at O'Brien last Tuesday, April 23, after a short illness.
Deceased was born in Belfast, Ireland, 85 years ago and has been a resident of Kent for the past eleven years. Mrs. Chapman was a most loveable woman and was a life-long member of the Episcopal.
She is survived by one son Thomas Chapman and two daughters Miss Isabel and Mrs. Rebecca Wheeler of Winnepeg, Canada.
Funeral services will be held from the Chittenden's Chapel next Saturday morning, rev. Rodney Arney having charge of the services. The body will be laid to rest in the Kent cemetery."
